DECONSTRUCTING, DISTORTING and QUEERING DREAMS is an interdisciplinary project between the artists Sall Lam Toro and Tina Madsen that interweaves performance art, interaction, video, sound and movement, with live coding and online streaming. The project is rooted in the breakdown of stereotypical notions of place, identity, codes, and environment. The project has an experimental format that links more sites together. In the performance for the Fertilizer Festival Madsen is facilitating sound on the main stage of Studenterhus Aalborg with Sall Lam Toro creating relational imprints another place in the building. The communication between the actions coming from both performers as well as the sound are key in the creation of a site-specific deciphering and deconstruction of how a place is constructed and understood.
