TRIBUTE TO NEZAKET EKICI's "Emotion in motion (2001)": Externalizing (self-) Love (2019) at PERFORMANCErum for the November edition event in Aarhus, Denmark.

I present a tribute to the iconic performance piece "Emotion in motion" by the Turkish artist Nezaket Ekici where she transformed a gallery into a quasi-living space with her personal belongings and some furniture kissing the whole space and objects leaving kiss marks as a live action. I re-enact this performance by creating an extension of it in my own terms with the subtitle "Externalizing (self-) love" where I highlight this practice as social practice to reclaim and externalize self-love towards space and audience.
